ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs went on a recruiting run in June that will be remembered for a long, long time.

After picking up two commitments in late May, the Dawgs landed 18 total commitments in the month of June. They ended the month as well as any program in the country as they landed 10 commitments over the last nine days.

Here’s a recap on all of Georgia’s June commitments...

June 2nd - Georgia’s first commitment of the month came in the 2027 class when they landed four-star receiver Gavin Honore‍. As a sophomore last season for Mater Dei (CA), the speedy 5-foot-10 170-pound wideout caught 23 passes for 353 yards and six touchdowns. He shows quick feet, impressive burst, and the ability to sneak past opposing defensive backs down the field. Look for this natural playmaker to have a giant junior season this upcoming fall.

June 3rd - The Dawgs kicked off their giant month in a big way with a commitment from four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick‍. One of the top overall prospects in Florida, Fitzpatrick is a big, instinctive cornerback with a natural feel for the position. He’s fundamentally sound, knows how to tackle, and was a massive pickup for Smart and the defense staff. The 6-foot-1 195-pounder out of St. Thomas Aquinas committed just days after his official visit in late May and is ranked as the No. 8 CB prospect and the No. 65 overall prospect in the country. As a junior last season, Fitzpatrick made 34 tackles and picked off two passes while breaking up seven more.

The 6-foot-2 220-pounder also rushed for 1,152 yards and 12 touchdowns while making 116 tackles on defense. He’s easily one of the more interesting prospects in Georgia’s commit list.

He didn’t pass up that opportunity and gave the Dawgs more size and promise to their defensive line class. As a junior, Howard 36 tackles, 10 TFLs and 4.5 sacks. He’s ranked as the No. 79 EDGE defender and No. 811 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
