Act now and get three months of Dawg Post for the price of one
ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs continue to stay hot on the recruiting trail.
After landing four-star DL Carter Luckie on Saturday and wide receiver Gavin Honore on Monday, Smart lands one of his biggest targets in the secondary tonight in four-star cornerback, Justice Fitzpatrick.
If the last name rings a bell, then you’ve been following SEC football for a while now. Georgia’s newest commitment is the younger brother of former Alabama star Minkah Fitzpatrick who was coached by Kirby Smart during his days in Tuscaloosa.
Miami, Alabama, Florida State, and many other programs pushed hard for the St, Thomas Aquinas (FL) star, but it was Georgia who landed his commitment.

According to FanDuel, the Atlanta Falcons have +200 odds to win 10 or more games next season.
What will Fitzpatrick bring to Georgia?
Toughness and natural cover skills.
At 6-foot-1 195-pounds, Fitzpatrick is physically gifted with strong instincts in coverage. He does a great job of being exactly where he needs to be while keeping an eye on the quarterback. When the ball is in the air, he knows how to track it and make a play on it. He shows strong hands and is physical enough to make a secure tackle on the ball-carrier.
He looks the part physically with a lean frame and above-average length. He’s also fundamentally sound with his footwork, staying balanced when changing directions and running with receivers down the field.
This is a guy the Georgia staff has been pushing hard for and was able to win him over during his official visit this past weekend.
As a junior last season, Fitzpatrick made 34 tackles and picked off two passes while breaking up seven more. He’s ranked as the No. 7 CB prospect and the No. 64 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
