ATHENS - Kirby Smart and Stacy Searels continue adding to their already deep offensive line class for UGA Football.
After landing three in-state interior linemen, the Georgia Bulldogs have landed a commitment from one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the country.
That would be four-star Ekene Ogboko.
The younger brother of current Bulldog defensive lineman Nnamdi Ogboko, this talented lineman was a major target for the assistant Stacy Searels from the very beginning of his recruitment. The Dawgs were always towards the top of his recruitment and after hosting him on an official visit the weekend of June 6th, sources say they took a commanding lead for the South Garner (NC) standout.
Now, Ogboko has “Committed to the G”, becoming one of Georgia’s highest-ranked commitments in the 2026 class.

What will Ogboko bring to Athens?
Size, toughness, physicality, and a mean streak.
When you turn on the film it’s easy to see why Ogboko is ranked as one of the nation’s top tackle prospects. He brings a lean 6-foot-6 300-pound frame and carries his weight extremely well.
He’s an impressive athlete for his size who moves well in space and can bury linebackers at the second level in the run game. He plays with aggression, getting his hands on defenders early with his length then using his natural strength to drive them backwards and into the ground. He plays until the whistle and consistently eliminates his opponents out of the play.
In pass protection, he’s mean and shows violent hands when protecting the quarterback. He’s fundamentally sound with his footwork, has great balance, and plays with good pad level. His length, mobility, and overall strength makes it almost impossible for defenders in the area to get off his block.
He’s a natural at the position who will only get better and better as he continues to develop his technique and gets into the Georgia strength and conditioning program. Once he practices every day against Georgia-level defenders and pass-rushers, Ogboko’s game will only improve.
He also plays defense for his South Garner team and dominated there as well. At defensive tackle, Ogboko made 60 tackles, 16 TFLs and five sacks.
Again, this is a major win as programs like Clemson, Notre Dame, Florida, and many others wanted Ogboko badly in their class. Jackson Cantwell was obviously a top priority, but Ogboko wasn’t far behind him. He’s been been towards the very top of Georgia’s offensive line board from the very beginning and was their top-remaining uncommitted target.
Ogboko is ranked as the No. 6 OT prospect and the No. 68 overall prospect in the entire 2026 class. He becomes Georgia’s fourth offensive line commitment, joining interior linemen Graham Houston, Zachary Lewis and Zykie Helton. He also becomes Georgia’s 18th commitment in the 2026 class.
