Fwiw, last year I watched '
Breaking Bad' and '
The Wire' for the first time. IMO, '
Breaking Bad' episodes were more consistently intense than '
The Wire' , however the latter had more likeable characters ('
Breaking Bad': Jesse, Gomez, Saul, Mike; Gus; '
The Wire': Bunk, Cedric, Kima, Carver, Bubbles, Omar, Stringer, Bunny, Proposition Joe). '
Seinfeld' was funny (e.g., 'The Soup Nazi' episode), but I found the character Newman (played by Wayne Knight, a UGA Alumnus) annoying. As for '
The Sopranos', I've only seen the first 12 (of 86) episodes, so my rating is "TBD". Fwiw, I didn't find '
The Sopranos' particularly compelling until episode 11, thus a slow starter for me (I actually stopped watching it on episode 7, before picking it back up several months later).
P.S. I've enjoyed watching '
Breaking Bad''s prequel, 'Better Call Saul'.
P.S.S. I've never seen '
Game of Thrones' (I don't have an HBO subscription), but may binge watch the series once it's over.
