ATHENS - Another day another commitment for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
After landing two commitments over the weekend, the Bulldogs land another in-state commitment in Lovejoy (GA) EDGE defender, Olayiwola Oreofeoluwa Taiwo.
A hard-hitting pass-rusher who earned a Bulldog offer in early May, Taiwo quickly flew up Georgia’s board as the Bulldogs continue to look for more dynamic pass-rushers.
Now, after his big official visit over the weekend, Taiwo has committed to the in-state Bulldogs, giving Georgia their 11th commitment in the 2027 class.
Here’s what Georgia’s newest commitment had to say about his official visit over the weekend...
“The visit was really cool overall. I feel like meeting the staff played a big role in my experience because it let me get to know how they are and how they operate day to day. Being around Coach Knight was big for me too. He gave me a lot of tips and details on my pass rush techniques, which really showed me what type of coach he is and how hands-on he’ll be with player development. Meeting Coach Smart and the rest of the staff also stood out. It was clear they’re serious not just about football, but also about education and setting you up for life after the game. That balance really stuck with me.”
