Cannot lose to Missouri. Doing so probably doesn't change much practically, but it sure would affect the vibe headed into the offseason.UgaBoz53 said:

After non-conf play I would have bet the over on SeC wins at 6.
8-9 was my guess. I don't think that was unreasonable. Should have had 8 at least.
Going to be a veeerryyy interesting March April May in UGA hoops offices.

Crazy enough, I don't think the NIT is off the table, either. My understanding is that the two highest rated teams - NET rating - from each power conference that do not go to the dance get into the NIT. Here are the current SEC rankings: https://bballnet.com/conferences/SEC
That said, and as much as I'd like to see the team play in the postseason, playing until at least Thursday is more important. Cannot lose to Missouri.
I just don't see how we can win only 6 SEC games and make the NIT.UgaBoz53 said:agreeStevieBuckets said:Cannot lose to Missouri. Doing so probably doesn't change much practically, but it sure would affect the vibe headed into the offseason.UgaBoz53 said:

I'm not saying we belong in the NIT. We don't.Monkdawg said:I just don't see how we can win only 6 SEC games and make the NIT.UgaBoz53 said:agreeStevieBuckets said:Cannot lose to Missouri. I was mistaken. LSU played Mississippi State...and lost.StevieBuckets said:

Win tonight and we're almost certainly hosting an NIT game. Crazy, right?
Our main competition for the auto bids are Ole Miss and LSU, and they play each other. One of them is going to lose.
So something to play for at least...
