ATHENS - It appears the Georgia Bulldogs are trending with more top targets after another major recruiting weekend in Athens.

After extending an offer to former Clemson safety commit Seth Williams‍ last month the Bulldogs appear to be sitting in an excellent position for the Atlanta, Georgia native after his recent official visit.

One of the hottest prospects in Georgia right now, Williams is a smooth athlete overall with sticky hands and a lean 6-foot-3 190-pound frame. The in-state defensive back at Lakeside (GA) made 73 tackles as a junior last season with five TFLs, two INTs, one forced fumble, and five more pass-breakups in coverage.

Now sources say the Bulldogs could easily be the team out in front for Williams after his big visit Athens over the weekend.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Dallas Cowboys have +200 odds to win the NFC East next season.

“The message was how they see me being a big contributor like every safety that commits to the G”, Williams said. “But with my size and ability I can exceed expectations If I get there and work like they know I can. They also let me know I’m a priority for them being from the state and playing the position that Coach Smart played. They also showed me how they have fun so if you mix that with winning games like they always do it is literally no other place to be. The proof is in the pudding. If you want to go to the next level as a DB there’s no place like Georgia. I also like how close knit the team is. They all welcomed me with open arms like I’m enrolling now. They were literally recruiting my whole family.”

Williams confirmed that he will still take official visits to Florida and Ohio State with the possibility of taking another one to LSU. He currently has plans to make his commitment in July.

Williams is ranked as the No. 109 safety prospect in the country for the 2027 class.
