8-9 was my guess. I don't think that was unreasonable. Should have had 8 at least.

Going to be a veeerryyy interesting March April May in UGA hoops offices.

Cannot lose to Missouri. Doing so probably doesn't change much practically, but it sure would affect the vibe headed into the offseason.

Crazy enough, I don't think the NIT is off the table, either. My understanding is that the two highest rated teams - NET rating - from each power conference that do not go to the dance get into the NIT. Here are the current SEC rankings: https://bballnet.com/conferences/SEC

That said, and as much as I'd like to see the team play in the postseason, playing until at least Thursday is more important. Cannot lose to Missouri.

I'm not saying we belong in the NIT. We don't.

But per my understanding of the rules, if the SEC puts its top 8 teams in (A&M seems bubbly to me), and if UGA surpasses LSU in the NET by winning a couple games in the SEC Tournament, UGA will go.

I was mistaken. LSU played Mississippi State...and lost.
