Recruiting SCOOP: Top Prospects In Europe React To Big UGA Football Offer
Act now and get three months of Dawg Post for the price of one
ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have gone international.
June is “camp season” for the Dawgs and the staff had several top prospects in town from the International American Football players group on Tuesday. Brandon Collier, founder of PPI Recruits, the No. 1 International placement platform, brought several players to Athens to camp and work out in front of the Georgia staff.
By the end of the day, several of his players left with an offer from the Bulldogs. Here’s who they are...
Gustaf Henriks Ras - EDGE
A former hockey player from Stockholm, Sweden, Ras is a promising EDGE defender with the frame and skill-set to play some tight end. The 6-foot-4 230-pounder has a lean frame with long arms with off the charts athleticism. He camped at Georgia on June 1st and was back at it again on Tuesday, earning an offer along the way.
“I was very excited about the offer but had to keep my mind on dominating the 1-on-1s since I got the offer before the camp. I know that Georgia has a lot of tradition and is known for being the toughest program which I feel fits me perfectly.”
At tight end, Ras caught 51 passes for 1,208 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The promising EDGE defender told Dawg Post that he’ll “probably” be back in town this fall for a game and an official visit.
DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!
According to FanDuel, the Georgia Bulldogs have +650 odds to win the national championship during the 2025 season.
Marvin Nguestop - EDGE
A long, athletic EDGE defender with the potential to turn into a really impactful pass-rusher, Nguestop is from Dusseldorf, Germany and could end up being a big name in the 2027 class down the road. He’s explosive off the snap, plays with fire and aggression, and uses his length to latch onto the ball-carrier and sling them to the ground. He’s raw, but the natural athleticism is easy to see.
The camp in Athens on Tuesday was the first of four stop he’ll be making this month and after a big performance, he left with an offer. Don’t be surprised if Michigan, Ohio State, and Nebraska also offer the promising defender over the next few days.
“The first thing I did was coach coach Scott for the opportunity to play for UGA. Then I told my guys from PPI that I got offered and they celebrated with me. I know that Georgia has one of the best programs out there and if you can play for them then you have to be special.”
Aik Peitz - Offensive Tackle
A lean offensive tackle with a promising 6-foot-7 295-pound frame, Peitz is from Germany and earned an offer from Stacy Searels after camping at Georgia twice now since June 1st. The staff got a good look at him earlier this month and extended an offer on Tuesday after a strong camp performance. He plays left tackle for his Germany squad, showing quick feet and a strong initial first punch on the defender. He’s strong in the run game and has the length to be able to turn into a dependable pass-protector if he continues to develop and work on his craft. His size also allows him to play some defensive tackle as well.
“I couldn’t believe it when they offered. I was so thankful that all the work I am putting in finally paid off. I know that Georgia is tough! I took a visit in the spring and was able to watch them train. That was the first thing I noticed and I was able to experience that when I was working out at the camp. I loved it!”
Adrian Bekibele - DL
Another promising defender from Sweden, Bekibele is a 6-foot-3 300-pound interior defensive linemen with quick hands, impressive burst, and a really strong motor. He moves like someone 20-pounds lighter and has a knack for making big plays in the backfield. After a strong camp performance, Bekibele left Athens with an offer from assistant Tray Scott.
”I felt very blessed and grateful for the offer. I know that Georgia produces elite players year after year. They are very professional at what they so and as an outcome they have won a lot of games.”
