ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs strike big on the recruiting trail today as they land a major flip from four-star offensive tackle, Kennedee Jackson.
One of the top offensive tackle prospects across the South, Jackson committed to the Florida Gators on June 2nd before taking a big official visit to Georgia.
Now Jackson, a dominant 6-foot-6 300-pounder at Lithonia, has flipped his commitment from the Gators to the in-state Bulldogs.
What will Jackson bring to Georgia?
Size, length, toughness, and the ability to protect the quarterback.
When you turn on the tape it’s easy to see why Georgia and many others pushed hard for the Atlanta-area tackle. He’s a terrific run blocker who can dominate his opponents with ease in that area of the offense. He fired off the ball and uses his athleticism to find linebackers to bury at the second level. He moves extremely well for his size and can dominate an entire side of the line of scrimmage at times.

According to FanDuel, the New England Patriots have +1700 odds to win the Super Bowl next season.
He’s a true mauler in the run game who will likely evolve into a dependable pass-protector over time due to his length, mobility, and overall potential. He plays with balance, aggression, and made it all look easy last season as a junior. If he continues to perfect his craft and technique over the next several months, Jackson could be someone who pushes for playing time early in Athens.
Jackson is ranked as the No. 9 OT prospect and the No. 98 overall prospect in the country for the 2027 class.
The Bulldogs now have five current commitments on the offense line. Jackson joins in-state four-star tackle Kelsey Adams, three-star Abram Eisenhower, three-star DJ Dotson, and three-star Ty Johnson on the commit list in the current recruiting cycle.
