Why didn't UGA try to block UF's DEs on the goal line?

Florida player #92 just kept coming around and tackling before the backs got started and over and over and over, and he was unblocked, why didn't we address that unblocked player after a couple of tackles, the guys up in the box had to see it, what took so long, it was pitiful!!!!!!!!!

Florida DL Jabari Zuniga (#92) made 6 tackles, 0.5 TFL, and 1 QBH vs. UGA on Saturday. He made 3 tackles on that infamous third quater 8-play goal line stand from the Gators' 1-yard line which netted the Dawgs a FG after recovering a Feleipe Franks fumble. I have no idea why the Dawgs let him and DL Luke Ancrum (#98) crash down to make plays on that series. Moreover, I don't know why UGA didn't spread it out and run an RPO w/ Fromm or Fields. When Fromm tried his quarterback sneaks, it was a 10-on-11 game for Florida defenders. Same when Holyfield/Swift tried running it in to no avail.

Exactly AF, we got that many attempts and tried only a toss sweep, well I guess we did try to throw and got the PI call. But every play we ran in the formation you pictured had us lining up with 10 against 11, if the QB simply hands off, he is out of the play, the deep TB is also out of the play on a QB sneak. Also the DE making the play was on the opposite side of where we lined up double TE's?? Not sure why we need double TE's to one side if we are running up the middle. I am GLAD we ended up winning the game going away but these type of issues have haunted us in a couple games this year and that gets you beat more times than not. You can't keep settling for FG's or in teh case of LSU, a fake FG attempt. The D set up the offense several times at Missouri and we couldn't punch it in either. I think it is truly time for UGA to at least begin working on Fields to come in when we are inside the 10 or for sure inside the 5. Instead of practicing Mecole or Godwin or Swift/Holyfield in the wild dog, why not use a gifted runner/passer like Fields.

Some other options:

Fields/Fromm run or hard fake a naked bootleg to draw a defender(s) away from the pile.

Employ a jumbo OL (i.e., 7-9 linemen) instead of smaller tight ends on the goal line (Florida used to do this when Muschamp was there and Stanford still does it).

On a play action fake have Nauta or Woerner chip block the defensive end then run a flat route.
