5-Star UGA Football Signee Wins Fourth Consecutive State Championship
ATLANTA - It’s been a truly historic high school career for five-star Georgia Bulldog signee Kaiden Prothro.
The elite tight end won his fourth consecutive state championship as the Bowdon Red Devils beat Lincoln County for another Class A Division 2 title.
After setting the career receiving touchdown record earlier this season, Prothro finished his illustrious career in Mercedes-Benz Stadium with his fourth championship. Now he’ll head to Athens later this month to be with the team for Sugar Bowl prep.
The big, athletic 6-foot-6 215-pound tight end was terrific in his final game, catching a big touchdown pass in double-coverage late in the first half.
Coming into the game Prothro had caught 54 passes for 1,044 yards and 26 touchdowns this season. For his career, before tonight’s state title game, the future Bulldog caught 153 passes for 3,294 yards and a record-setting 65 receiving touchdowns.
Prothro is ranked as the No. 4 TE prospect and the No. 30 overall prospect in the country for the 2026 class.
