ATHENS - Once again Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have signed an elite recruiting class.

They loaded up with impressive prospects in the trenches and signed one of the very best offensive line prospects in the country in elite offensive tackle, Ekene Ogboko‍.

Ogboko’s head coach Greg Greene told Dawg Post recently that the new Bulldog signee “dominated” this fall as a senior.

“He was absolutely dominant this season”, Greene said. “He’s truly graduated into 5 star status. His understanding of the game, the maturity of his body, and his technique have aligned, and it’s shown all season. Our local conference features quite a few power 4 recruits so his skill set was challenged each week. He led our offensive line to record rushing numbers (3,093 yards) all while not giving up a sack. He also and added 60 tackles on defense with 27 TFLs, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two sacks.”

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Denver Broncos have -750 odds to win the AFC West this year.

Ogboko released his latest senior highlights over the weekend and they are sure to have Georgia fans excited.

On tape, Ogboko’s physicality stands out immediately. He’s not just putting defenders on the ground. He’s driving them through it. He fires off the ball and uses his length and athleticism to latch onto defenders and drive them backwards. He plays with good leverage, pad level, and consistently does his job.

He makes it look easy, too. He served up pancakes all season long and did it with a tenacity that you just don’t see very often. He’s powerful, mobile, and completely dominated his opponents on a weekly basis. Not only did he prove to be an outstanding pass protector, but he also showed that he’s an absolute mauler in the run game. He works hard, competes every play, and was consistently the best player on the field all season long.

Kirby Smart knows that championships are built in the trenches, and Ogboko has a chance to be a multi-year starter type of player if he continues to progress and develop properly when he gets to campus. He’s an elite prospect for a reason and it’s easy to see why when you turn on his senior film.

Ogboko is ranked as the No. 6 OT prospect and the No. 36 overall prospect in the country for the 2026 class.
