More and more people are calling for Fields to get more snaps and actually do something besides run or hand off. Wonder why that is, because Jake From was 16-34 for 209 yards, 1 TD and 2 INT's. The TD pass came basically after the game was decided. You can say what you want about Kirby protecting the confidence level of Fromm and also of Fields-not letting the young guy have a bad day etc, but the point remains, why not let Fields have two drives, from start to finish in the second quarter or third quarter. Why run the kid in for one play to hand it off, or why let him hand off twice-resulting in a TD, and then pull him out for the 2pt conversion-to me an ideal situation to let Justin run/pass. This brings me to my point I have made time and time again, obviously it does NOT make sense to our coaches, but to me it makes perfect sense. Use Fields like UF used Tebow, redzone QB, a true wilddog formation that can result in read option, QB runs, jet sweeps, or a pass.

With our offense struggling so badly, who cares if we were on the road, that is when you give other QB a shot, see if he can spark you. Yes, Kirby does not want a QB controversy in the eyes of the team, but he is paid to win games, and if his gut tells him a fake FG is a good move on 4th and 9, having PK run the ball 16 yards to get a first down, why doesn't his gut tell him to try a stud athlete, a potential spark to help get our offense rolling.

Haney, you're 100%. It was evident from about midway through the 1st qtr we weren't going to win with Jake. He just didn't have it. One of the most misused terms is "confidence level". The worst thing that can happen to an elite level athlete is disillusionment. You bust your ass, do the workouts, study the film, prepare yourself for the season and the games, and your hard work isn't recognized.

I'm a pretty smart guy, but I have bad days. You have bad days. Tom Brady has bad days. Kirby has bad days. And guess what, Jake Fromm has bad days. Doesn't mean I don't love the guy, but he stunk it up on Saturday. Truth be told, he'd probably tell you that himself. We've all been there. So if you trot Fields out there and he stinks it up as well, then guess what? We still lose. When you're in a street fight and you're up against it, you gotta fire every bullet in the magazine. Throw whatever you have out there. If you don't, you might as well give up. I mean seriously, what's the point?

For the life of me, I cannot figure out what we were thinking bringing in a guy for one play here or there to hand the ball off. Makes no sense.

Hey, all we can do now is focus on putting a beatdown on Florida. This may be the biggest game of Kirby's career.

Many hot seats riding on this game: Kirby's Honey Moon over and Jake's job pretty much gone.
