If you didn't know the difference between the two football programs in this state (well I might have to say soon if not now KSU and GSU are more popular than GT), both UGA/GT open the season with lower level competition-UGA-Austin Peay and GT-Alcorn State.

Had thought about maybe going to UGA game if tickets were pretty cheap but as of today, cheapest ticket is $50. So just out of curiosity, checked out Tech on Stubhub, plenty of seats for $6. WOW!!!!! You can sit in section 106 or 107 (basically 50 yard line) for $32/$29 a piece.

Just brought a chuckle to me on a Wed morning and had to share. Truly the joke by Coke is truly still earning that reputation these days.

You could have gotten a 2016 Cotton Bowl ticket to watch Wisconsin play Western Michigan for $3.

You can get tickets to see Middle Tennessee State vs. Vanderbilt on 1 September 2018 for $4.

Fwiw, I've paid $6+ to see high school football and Pop Warner playoff games in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, and Texas.

AF, they are $6 over a week for gameday, I would imagine $2-3 if you wait another week from now!!

I don't imagine many folks will be watching Tech's season opener other than family/friends of players and diehard fans of both schools.

As for myself, I'd rather spend the $2-3 on a couple of lottery tickets on the off chance I'd win the jackpot.

Wow, even conference games at $6!! I am curious to see what happens with GT this weekend playing South Florida in Tampa. They are actually favored on the road.
