4-star EDGE Khamari Brooks

A major Bulldog target on defense, the local EDGE defender is down to Georgia and Alabama and will be making his commitment on June 23rd. The 6-foot-4 235-pounder out of North Oconee (GA) took his official visit to Georgia the weekend of May 30th and was in Tuscaloosa for his official visit to Alabama the weekend of June 6. Brooks has is one of the top overall pass-rushers across the South and is coming off an outstanding junior season where he made 131 total tackles, 17 TFLs, 13 Sacks, three pass-breakups, one INT, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 24 QB hurries and two defensive touchdowns. Sources say the Bulldogs are the team to beat at the moment over the Crimson Tide. Brooks is ranked as the No. 17 EDGE defender and the No. 115 overall prospect in the country.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, superstar golfer Scottie Scheffler has +280 odds to win the Travelers Championship next week.

4-star WR Craig Dandridge

An in-state wide receiver who flew up Georgia’s board this spring, Dandridge is one of the top pass-catchers in Georgia with impressive speed, strong hands, and the ability to make big plays after the catch. He earned an offer from Georgia back in January and after several visits to Athens, including an official visit the weekend of May 30th, sources say Georgia has the upper-hand in his recruitment. The Cambridge (GA) star will make his commitment on June 26th, choosing between Georgia, Oklahoma, Stanford, Georgia Tech, among others. The 6-foot-1 175-pounder was one of the state’s most productive receivers last season, catching 58 passes for 1,443 yards and 14 touchdowns. He’s ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 35 WR prospect in the country and No. 229 overall.

3-star OL Desmond Green‍

A massive offensive line target at 6-foot-5 350-pounds out of Timberland (SC), Green will be making his commitment on June 26th and will be choosing between Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, among others. The Bulldogs appeared to be a team trending for Green throughout the spring, but sources tell Dawg Post this second that this is likely shaping up to be a South Carolina/Florida battle. The Bulldogs already have three interior offensive line commitments and don’t necessarily need to take another. Still, he’s one to keep an eye on if things start to change over the next week. Green was in Athens for an official visit May 30th and was at Florida last week. He’ll take his official visit to South Carolina this upcoming weekend.

4-star OT Malakai Lee‍

A big-time target that Georgia fans need to keep a close eye on, Lee is a a giant 6-foot77 310-pound tackle from Hawaii who is no stranger to Athens. Lee was in town for an official visit the weekend of Georgia’s G-Day scrimmage in April and was back for an unofficial visit this past weekend. Offensive line coach Stacy Searels also went to go visit Lee two different times during the spring. It’s clear he’s wanted badly by the Georgia staff and they’ll have a chance to land him on June 27th. Lee will be committing between Georgia, Michigan, Texas, and Alabama. He was in Tuscaloosa for an official visit the weekend of May 30th, was at Texas June 6th, and will be in Ann Arbor to visit Michigan this upcoming weekend. He’s ranked as the No. 11 OT prospect and the No. 119 overall prospect in the country.
