ATHENS - After signing the No. 1 class in the last recruiting cycle, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are off to a great start again in the 2025 class.

The Dawgs have five current commitments, and one of their biggest is four-star tight end, Elyiss Williams‍.

A big, versatile pass-catcher who also shines on the basketball court, this Camden County (GA) standout has something you can’t teach.

Size and length.

At 6-foot-7 235-pounds, Williams is a physically imposing player and a giant target down the field in the passing game. A good overall athlete for his size, Williams is a complete mismatch down the field with enough ball skills to make a big catch over multiple defenders.

He’s not a burner, but he does run well after the catch for his size. If he’s got some space to run, he can be tough to bring down once he gets rolling down the field. He showed big, strong hands last year with the ability to make some tough catches in traffic.

Of course, if you can’t block, you won’t be seeing the field much at Georgia. That’s where his size comes into play. He’s not Darnell Washington big, but he’s a big body with length which will help him in the run game. If he continues to add more muscle and mass over the next few years, his play will only improve.

As a junior, Williams flashed 5-star potential on a weekly basis. Playing in a run-heavy offense, the dynamic tight end was an easy go-to option when they put the ball in the air. He’s a jump-ball weapon on the perimeter and can work the middle of the field as well. He’s tough to stop, and it’s easy to see why he’s ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect in the country.

As a junior last fall, the nation’s No. 1-ranked tight end only caught 25 passes, but he took them for 530 yards and seven touchdowns, leading Camden County in all three categories.
