Hurts bad , I think she will be a WNBA Top 10 caliber player. A difference maker.

It really does hurt. She generated so much excitement just by choosing us. I don't blame her one bit though, and I wouldn't be surprised if she's the number one pick after college.

Really tough week to be a UGA fan.

Interesting tweet from J. Barker's high school coach saying Barker has decommited, but she has not opened up her recruitment yet. I wonder if she's waiting on the LOI release, or to see who the new coach will be, or to play with her hs team in the national tournament. I bet it has to do with tourney prep or the LOI.

She's probably getting constant phone calls, texts, faxes, emails and smoke signals from coaches. It would be so much easier just to come to UGA, lol. I could only dream.

I think it's a solid fit, she has built programs from ground up not just maintain them. Her daughter ( Savannah Henderson) is a 4 star who committed to UCF, expecting that to change to red and black very soon

She was at the press conference for Coach Abe hugging and kissing and smiling. Guess that all was for show

She could be just testing the waters, but it's rare for a player to enter the portal and then withdraw from it.

Nothing official yet, but Bates was pictured participating in workouts on the twitter page, so it seems she could be coming back next season. Great news if true.

Excellent! I am not sure if Henderson is a fresh or soph eligibility wise. One post says she is a transfer, so she may have early enrolled like Hylton did??

I believe Fresh, she recommited to UGA, I think this upcoming season is her first year in college.

Either way it's great to add a young player with how many have left. I am really hoping Bowles is still planning to attend.

If you want to see Bowles, her high school team is playing on ESPNU this Friday at 2. It's the state champion invitational.

Yes, she's a 4 Star so hopefully she's really that good.I'm Surprised that Bowles is still here, that's a good thing. I also hearing we're still a possible landing spot for the other guard from UCF, Brittney Smith I believe

Definitely. We will probably be slightly offensively challenged, but if this roster holds, we will have a mature team. We could be a dark horse team in the SEC.

I hope we have one or two more transfers added.
