Very poor sportsmanship by Ole Miss. Yelling at the opposing team down the tunnel after the game. Very childish and ridiculous.

This is what frustrates me the most. You get a double digit lead and then allow the opposing team to go on a run and never call a timeout? Why? Horrible coaching decision.
Calm down. Damn. If you read my last post I said she adjusted well after the half. You can be a fan of a coach but also know they can make unwise decisions. We were lucky to get out of the Arkansas game and she called 0 time outs the whole 2nd half.Tyree02 said:dawg212003 said:

Have you played basketball before? I am not trying to be funny. Some coaches call timeouts and some don't, because they have faith in their teams and they allow them to play thru adversity. We have tons of experience and there was a time Joni called a TO during the 3rd Quarter. Joni knows what she is doing man. I think that is something we all should be aware of now. She is doing the damn thing!
Appreciate the explanation. I want nothing but success for them. Hated seeing the run by Aggies and wondered where the timeout was. A lot of times they are not for anything but slowing the other teams momentum down. So glad they adjusted and had a great 2nd half.Tyree02 said:
It wasn't a post to take a dig at you man. You are always going on 10 for no reason. I was just presenting you with a question brother. I wasn't trying to be malicious and I can promise you that. I am certain you have seen older posts where I have gone for someone's throat and I wasn't trying to do that to you!
Watching the last few years with Landers and I knew it was time for him to retire. He brought this program into the limelight and deserves so much respect. You could honestly tell he was using the same mindset he did when he dominated with UGA for decades. Everyone else was changing and he didn't. So I was worried with Joni bc she was on his staff in his last few seasons coaching. I didn't think anything would be different. She had a couple of mediocre seasons that had me still wondering if she was the right choice. This season and with the girls coming in she may be headed in the right direction.Tyree02 said:
Yeah I think Joni is growing a lot as a coach and her ability to adjust is much different than years past. She is a young coach and I think she is gonna have longevity because of her ability to learn the game and explore other schemes. To be honest, this is what hurt Andy's career a lot, because he didn't explore additional avenues.
