Goin to California is probably my favorite Zep song.

I damn near cried when it was the end credits song for the series finale of Entourage
Sirius has a Led Zep channel through May.

And I have been enjoying.

Been listening to the Petty channel a lot lately as well as my usual listening of Ozzys Boneyard

You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what your saying.....

Agree on Comfortably Numb.

For me, I'd swap Boston's More Than a Feeling with their Foreplay/Long Time. Great band who brought it on stage. Delp's suicide crushed them when they were still climbing.

Styx belongs up there for me as well. They sort of lost their way when DeYoung insisted on that Mr Roboto crap but Rockin the Paradise and Renegade were great.

I never really got into Zepplin so I'd replace them at #1 with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Freebird.

.38 Special and Hold on Loosely deserves a spot as does Molly Hatchet and Flirting With Disaster.

And any list that doesn't have...

Ramblin Man - Allman Brothers
Doraville - Atlanta Rhythm Section
Georgia Peaches - Skynyrd
Oh Atlanta - Little Feat

... is absolute trash!!!

IMO Styx = Lorelei, though I did enjoy scaring the beer era out of people by cranking the radio in the dead space at the beginning of Renegade right before the "YEAAAHHHH"

Dean - personally i would have flipped the 2 led Zeppelin songs. In my opinion, Stairway is the 4th best song on that SIDE of the album.

Yeah a lot of folks are lower on stairway that some of the charts.

It's a huge song. Not being alive in the 1970s, or at least not listing to the radio, I can't say what it was like when it came out. But it was a staple on the rock stations in Atlanta in the 80s and 90s
