I assume this is Shareef Abdur-Rahim's son? Doesn't his granddad or some relative coach in college at maybe Tx A&M? Would be a smart move for us to get an Abdur-Rahim on our staff.... They have close ties to the AAU circuit and to Cobb County.

Jabri's father, a 2000 Olympic gold medalist, competed at University of California and 12 years in the NBA for the Vancouver Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trailblazers and Sacramento Kings. He also captured a gold medal as a member of the 1994 USA U18 National Team and helped the 1995 USA Junior National Select Team earn an 86-77 victory in the inaugural Nike Hoop Summit.

Jabri's uncles Amir Abdur-Rahim (Southeastern Louisiana), Muhammad Abdur-Rahim (Detroit Mercy), Tahir Abdur-Rahim (Shaw University), Bilal Abdur-Rahim (Southern Mississippi), Malik Abdur-Rahim (Newman University) played basketball in college.

Amir is a coach at Tx A&M. It would be pretty smart of Crean to take a long look at him for his staff.

Yep, and Amir is from Atlanta. However, it may be a tough pull for Crean to lure him away from Billy Kennedy as the latter coached Amir in college and has employed him as an assistant coach at Murray State for 3 years and TAMU for 4 years.

Amir worked for two izzo guys. One at college of Charleston and one at tech. He was also with Dollar at tech.
