center Jacob McFarland from California on 9/9/22. He's ranked in the top 100 by On3. I just watched a tiny bit of film on him, so I haven't seen enough to have an opinion on him yet.

Also, we are in the final 3 for Edgerrin (Jizzle) James, Jr., a PG out of Orlando. I really like his film - solid, athletic-looking body and nice skills.

As mentioned in a previous post, we have at least 5 scholarships to play with next season. We have one commitment - wing Mari Jordan from Dacula.

Keep an eye on Jordan Butler out of Greenville, SC. He's looking at Auburn, SC and us among others.

We really need a player at every position in the class, depending on transfers.

I am told that, while he really liked his visit to Athens, McFarland looks like a Houston lean.

I really hope we can develop some recruiting momentum. Things seem to be moving a bit slowly so far.
