ATHENS - If the Georgia Bulldogs are hoping to load up in the secondary, they won’t have to go to far to do it.

The Peach State is loaded with impressive defensive backs in the 2027 class and one of the best is Douglas County (GA) standout, Adryan Cole‍.

Cole is being recruited by some of the best programs in college football and had a lot to say to Dawg Post about his recruitment and where the Bulldogs currently stand.

On recent spring visits...

“I checked out Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Ohio State, Ole Miss, and LSU. So there’s a lot of schools in the mix.”

On official visit plans...

“I’ve got my LSU official visit 29th. Then I’ll go to Florida June 4th, Georgia the 12th, and Ole Miss June 19th. Then I plan on making my commitment on July 15h.”

On interest in Georgia..

“I have a great relationship with Coach T-Rod. Georgia’s been recruiting since I was like 7th grade so that relationship is carried on or years. I've been through a whole bunch of phases in Georgia and I’m still building a relationship with them.”

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen has +600 odds to win NFL Regular Season MVP next year.

On what he likes most about Coach Robinson?

“He's like an uncle figured to me. Straight up. I can talk to him about anything. He’s just a cool guy overall. They (Georgia) like how versatile I am. They like me instincts and how I can take the ball. I'm always someone around the ball and that's what they like.”

On his spring visit to Georgia...

“I remember the intensity of it. I got called out by coach Smart a little bit. I just like how Kirby holds his players accountable. I just like them overall, They're cool guys. It's one of the most intense practices I saw this spring.”

On his relationship with coach Smart...

“It's great. He’s known me for a while now. He’s a great coach. I talked to someone from Georgia just about every day.”

On Georgia’s pitch...

“They’ve never failed getting someone to the league. They still use the ‘stay at home’ pitch’ too because why not? My step-dad is a big Georgia fan too.”

On what it will take to sign him...

”Development will be key in my recruitment but also how my moms feel with the program. Somewhere she can trust them to keep me down there for next three to four years. That's really big for me. I also want to be able to develop properly and fit into their scheme. It’s about getting to the NFL.”
