former Dawg Eric Marbury has passed. Super athletic player from Durham's 1st recruiting class. 2 year captain for the team. He and Dominique left the year before our Final Four run. Possibly best remembered for trying to drive late in a game with UK when we had the lead and wanted to milk the clock, allowing the Cats to get the ball and win the game. When asked by Durham why he did it, he said, "Coach, I was open...."

Very sad

Just seeing this - I was very friendly with Sky dawg while at uga - I was on the floor of that game and went to his room shortly after game - of course we never spoke of it but knowing him , he felt he could dunk on Bowie

he was a huge talent and great guy but I went to see Coach Durham many years later and asked why he did not recruit Stephon and his quote says is all

one Marbury is about all a man can take in their lifetime !
