Well, this one actually may be one for the " encouraged to pursue other opportunities" file. Our in-state recruiting - or recruiting period - isn't catching the attention of the FBI by any stretch. Or any attention.
No way Nostra... Dollar was not encouraged to leave. Cincinnati, with Wes Miller coming in is a much better gig for Dollar. Assistants get too much credit/blame for recruiting success/failure. They're important but it generally comes down to who is at the helm and what school it is that ultimately gets players to sign. UGA has been a difficult enough sell, for a myriad of reasons, put Tom Crean at the helm and this is what you get... players and coaches both fleeing as fast as they can when they find an opportunity.
Honestly, losing Dollar is no great loss. We have recruited pitifully in state pretty much his whole time in Athens. Sure, some of that falls on Crean, but some falls on Dollar, too. I was actually hoping he would leave, so I got my wish.
