however it seems crean has saved his job with these three new guys.
what i like is the parts seem to fit if these guys pan out.
last years roster needed height , toughness and three point shooters.
they seem to have shooting range also.
the guy from illinois chicago is tall.
the guy from fla atl is tough.
abdur rahim has a good pedigree and should play the three.
if wheeler and johnson stay we should have a lineup.

The percentage seems nice but he hasn't scored much at any of his stops. Not sure I get the add unless we are playing HORSE. We need two more impact guys to get out of the bottom of the conference. I may be in the minority here, but unless there is considerably more coming, we are treading water at best. The teams ahead of us have reloaded.

We've picked up two below mid-major guys who have produced - at that level, and two power 5 guys who have done nothing to date. We have filled available slots. We'll see what comes out of the grinder next November.

Well, this is the new state of college basketball. I didn't like Crean's comments about the transfer portal...saying this is the way it is, but he was right. And he has been saying that for some time. Time will tell. Hopefully last years transfers will improve in the coming year (if they stick around). And I think there is potential in the new transfers.

Each of these guys adds something to our roster. I hurt to lose Fagan, but he should not be a starter for us. His minutes were likely going to be reduced. I'm sure that's what Crean told him that led to his transfer. Camara is a mystery and showed flashes of being a very good player, but he's not irreplaceable by any means. This portal thing is a mess for programs and coaches in terms of keeping a solid roster, but the coaches have to adjust and use it. Crean seems to be doing that. It's the new normal - until and if the NCAA stops it. It's affecting everyone. But we can make our roster better if we take advantage of it.

Our team will look completely different ( similar to most teams) having a true point guard will make it easier to blend the team together. Several years ago we had decent talent without a point guard and we were terrible.
