Florida forward Omar Payne ejected for committing this flagrant foul:

Back in the old days when I played sports either one of two things would have happened. 1. A fight would have immediately ensued the elbow shot or 2. Nothing would have been said but subtle retaliation would have happened before the game was over ( the UF players would have gotten a shot to his chops or better yet he would have been undercut on a layup/dunk attempt). I am not condoning these type of things but when a player knows that retribution will be more than a refs call, they think twice about taking cheap shots.
