It was nice to get a win, so the question is what is sustainable and what was fluky?
We only attempted 15 3's, and at least 10 of them were taken by guys who have proven themselves to be good shooters. I'm still not sold on Wheeler, Camara, or Fagan as 3-point threats, but generally, the shot selection was good, and I hope this is sustainable.
The free throw shooting was good. 88% may not be sustainable, but 70% as a team is.
Ole Miss inability to hit a 3 or a free throw in the first half felt a little fluky and kept us in the game. I'm not sure we can count on a gift like that from many other teams on the schedule.
I remain bearish about this team's prospects. I can only find 3 or 4 more winnable games on the schedule (Ole Miss, A&M, and Vandy...maybe South Carolina?). Hope I'm wrong!
