Not sure if Kirby will promote from within (e.g., ILB Coach Glenn Schumann) or hire someone else from another program to fill Tucker's position.

I would go with Schuman and maybe Ansley-the DB coach for the Raiders to be Co-DC's, with Schuman sticking with his ILB spot and Ansley being the DB coach. Ansley worked with Kirby before at Bama, is a great recruiter and probably wants out of Oakland. He could take this gig and potentially end up being a HC, but I think Schuman needs to get CO-DC because of his experience with the current players and working experience side by side with Kirby the past 3 years. Just my two cents. Certainly will have money to afford to pay whomever we want, Mel was making a lot of money-and did a fantastic job. Hope Mel does great things at CU.

Ansley suppose to be great recruiter. could go schulman and bring Tyson Summers up from consultant to on field coach. He failed as HC at GA Southern but very good reputation as Def coach

I would imagine there would be some intense interest from some very successful DCs around the country.
