I think most would say Bama is a HUGE favorite, and considering they have won every game by 20+, I think the line is actually about right. To me the ONLY teams capable of beating Bama would be UGA or Clemson. To me there is no way ND can do it, pretty strong D but not enough offense, OU or OSU, strong offenses but defenses would give up 50 and no way can they score enough on the Bama D to win. To me it would be surprising if it is not Clemson/Bama for the title, unless UGA can somehow figure out a way to slow Bama enough and score some points on them.
I would be very curious to see how Bama responds in the 4th quarter if they are losing or in a tight game. They have the talent but they have not been tested beyond early 3rd quarter this year, I mean really tested where there was a little bit of doubt in their mind. The last two games, they were tied 10-10 and up 17-14 but then within the first 5-6 minutes of the 3rd, they were up by double digits yet again. It is pretty easy to play when you have a two score lead as compared to being in a tight game.

I think Georgia will play Alabama the best game of anyone in contention for a playoff spot. I don't believe Clemson has enough pass defense, did you see what Bentley did to them? Notre Dame is not nearly strong enough. Ohio State is not nearly good enough on defense. Oklahoma, forget it.

I agree, plus SC was missing about half of their defensive starters, and still made it a game. I'm really not sold on Clemson being any more capable than us against Bama, and more likely less so. I would feel pretty good about our chances if we were to play Clemson.Alapahablue1 said:

Bama is the clear #1, then there is a gap. Next is us and Clemson, then another gap, then ND, Okl, OSU, and anyone else.
I agree, it will take our best effort, and maybe Bama making some mistakes for us to win, but things do happen. I guess we should go ahead and play the game anyway.
