Taking it a wee step further, I have said for several years now that since the BCS era began in 1998, UGA has consistently been the best team in the country not to have won a National Championship. Kinda like the old "best golfer never to have won a major" thing.

Hopefully Kirby can shake that moniker here soon.

Good stuff as always, AFD!

Of course Boise St and TCU don't count (I was talking about Power 5 teams and BSU is not P5, and TCU wasn't for most of that time). I would also guess that if you add stuff like bowl game wins, outright conference championships, etc., to the mix it would become even more apparent. We just haven't had that one season where everything came together. Hopefully that will change here soon.
