Iiiiiii like it, I like it aluh! So AFD, which one of these kids are going to wow us first? My pick is Adam Anderson and Salyer. Mark my words, they will both be pushing for a starting job by the time the season starts. Campbell will make some serious noise at CB and my sleeper pick is Jordan Davis. Nobody thinks he's gonna make a dent in the depth chart, cause he don't have the hooplah that the others do, but I got a feeling that big ol boy is going to get in there and start recking havoc...just a feelin. And another couple of questions...

You think Cook is going to get into the rotation at RB?

I'm intrigued about Otis Reese...are they going to stick him at safety or RS him and turn him into a LB for next year?

Darindawg,

After watching 'QB1: Beyond the Lights', Season 2 w/ Justin Fields, 6'3", 225 lbs. I was impressed w/ his all-around abilities (big arm and fast) and humbleness. Then seeing him in the 2018 UGA Football Spring G-Day confirmed my impression that the Dawgs have a difference maker.

Another player I'm expecting big things from early on is RB Zamir White. He's got size (6', 210 lbs.) and speed (10.58 seconds 100m). If his right ACL has properly healed (he had reconstructive surgery on 30 November 2017), then he'll be a force.

Like you, I'm expecting OG Jamaree Salyer, 6'4", 342 lbs. to play early. Note that he was a former high school teammate of UGA LT Andrew Thomas (who started at RT as a true freshman last season) at PACE Academy in Atlanta and was mentored by Chris Slade (former All-American college football player at Virginia that went on to start 108 NFL games).

OT Cade Mayes, 6'6", 318 lbs. was an early enrollee that made some noise this spring. Considering that his dad was an All-SEC OL and team captain at Tennessee, I think he'll be an impact player early on.

CB Tyson Campbell, 6'2.5", 180 lbs. is a burner (10.39 seconds 100m) at a position of need. I expect him to play early.

OLB Adam Anderson, 6'4", 214 lbs. has a great opportunity to play early as UGA is breaking in new starters (e.g., D'Andre Walker and Walter Grant) at his position.

DT Devonte Wyatt, 6'3", 301 lbs. will be part of UGA's 2-deep DL this fall. Last year he played in 11 games for Hutchinson Community College and made 30 tackles w/ 3 sacks. He has a great opportunity to play early at a position of need.

P Jake Camarda, 6'2", 175 lbs. has a great opportunity to start this fall if he can beat out graduate transfer Landon Stratton from Murray State.

RB James Cook, 5'11.5", 181 lbs. is a bit slight to expect him to run through the tackles, but he has hands so can help on the outside.

Otis Reese, 6'4", 206 lbs. will begin his UGA career backing up safeties J.R. Reed and Richard LeCounte and playing on special teams. If he gains enough weight, UGA may move him to OLB later on in his career.
