Orji graduated with a 3.97 grade point average in financial planning. She was the Georgia female nominee for the SEC Boyd-McWhorter Postgraduate Scholarship and a 2016-17 CoSIDA Academic All-American. Orji was also the USTFCCCA National Women's Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year (indoor 2017, outdoor 2015, 2017) and was previously a two-time SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She is the collegiate/American record holder in the triple jump and a three-time USTFCCCA National Women's Field Athlete of the Year.
