"Scoot" committed to UGA as a preferred walk-on on 28 March 2016 after starring as an All-Region QB/CB for Burke County High School. Unfortunately for the honor roll student, he dislocated a shoulder and tore a labrum prior to his senior season during a 7-on-7 event which nixed his FCS scholarship offers. At UGA he was converted to a WR, redshirted in 2016, and served as a scout team player last season.

Can't blame him. He wants to play and it was not going to happen here. Best of luck to him.
