CLEVELAND – With three players selected Saturday afternoon on the final day of the 2021 NFL Draft, the University of Georgia football program set a new record for its most players chosen in the seven-round era (since 1994) with nine.
Nakobe Dean is now in line to be the next great UGA linebacker. He had the production to show it in 2020, where he led the entire team with 64 total tackles.
Georgia’s quarterback play against Florida was atrocious to say the least, but that was not the only reason why the Bulldogs dropped the game and probably a chance at an SEC Championship berth.
In the moment, these games can seem like everything. Maybe not every game, but certainly some of them, like the 2017 National Championship or the Super Bowl that same year, for example.
ATHENS - UGA will be losing an All-American safety this off-season with the departure of JR Reed. Thankfully for the Bulldogs though, they won't be losing another one of their star safeties.
ATHENS - It was set to be one of the final showdowns at UGA this August - a players vs. coaches race… with Kirby Smart brining up the final leg for the coaches.
