One of Georgia’s best players suffered an off-the-field injury Saturday night.
Richard LeCounte, a senior defensive back, was involved in an accident Saturday night according to numerous reports. UGA has not confirmed the reporting, and did not return a request for confirmation to Dawg Post as of 10:30 PM Saturday night.
ESPN reported early Sunday morning that LeCounte “was transported to a local hospital”, and that Athens-Clarke County police confirmed that he was in an accident.
It is unclear how serious LeCounte's injury is, but Dawg Nation cited a source a reported that he “is in stable condition after suffering a concussion and a bruised rib, with X-rays indicating no broken bones.”
UGA had multiple injuries during Saturday's win at Kentucky including Lewis Cine, Jordan Davis and Julian Rochester.
