ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs made a big impression on a promising in-state defensive back last weekend.

North Atlanta (GA) cornerback, Bryce Willingham.

One of the top returning cornerbacks in the city, Willingham is coming off a strong sophomore season where he showed the ability to make a play on the ball in coverage. He’s also fresh off a weekend visit to Georgia to get his first look at the 2026 Bulldogs.

“I liked how competitive and detailed everything is at Georgia”, Willingham told Dawg Post. “From practice to meetings, you can tell there’s a real standard and everybody is held to it. The energy was high and it felt like a place where you’re going to be pushed every day to get better.”

“What really stood out to me about Coach Smart is how intense and locked in he is, but at the same time he’s real with you. You can tell he genuinely cares about developing his players on and off the field. The whole staff had that same mindset — very organized, very focused, and all about winning.”

Willingham is currently ranked as the No. 26 DB prospect and the No. 257 overall prospect in the country for the 2028 class.

Another 2028 target fresh off a Georgia visit is Philadelphia native, Ty Winn. A physically-gifted offensive tackle on the rise, Wynn stands at 6-foot-8 and 270-pounds and earned a Bulldog offer over the weekend during a spring unofficial visit. The Monsignor Bonner (PA) prospect

“I was so excited about the offer, Winn told Dawg Post. “I honestly don’t even think I can put it into words when people ask me how I feel because not only did I get a chance to see the facility, meet the coaches, and receive the offer, but I also just won a state championship for basketball on Friday night. So all of this happening in one weekend is pretty cool.”

“I know that UGA is one of the best programs in the country and they have a great reputation for sending athletes to the NFL which is a goal of mine,” Winn added. “They also have a good track record when it comes to developing linemen.”

The big, athletic multi-sport standout dominates on the hardwood but has a big future on the gridiron due to his length, mobility, and athleticism for his size. He’s head and shoulders one of the more physically imposing prospects in Pennsylvania who should see his recruitment continue to take off. The promising offensive tackle now holds an offer from Georgia and it’s clear the Dawgs made a big impression.
