ATHENS - As spring practice comes close to an end for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs, it’s clear they still have an eye on the recruiting trail.
For the last several weeks, major prospects from across the country have made their way to Athens to see the 2025 Georgia Bulldogs attack spring practice.
One major visitor in town recently was elite offensive tackle, Kennedy Brown. The massive 6-foot-5 285-pound tackle out of Kingswood High School in Houston, Texas was in Athens recently to check out a practice and left with an offer from Stacy Searels and the Bulldogs.

According to FanDuel, the Green Bay Packers have +280 odds to win the NFC North during the 2025 season.
“I learned a lot from my Georgia visit”, Brown said. From footwork/fundamentals, the standard of UGA, and just overall how all the Coaches coach and it really did mean a lot to me. The biggest takeaway is that Georgia is a school that is full of go getters and will really show who actually loves football and make sure they come to the facilities everyday with the Juice. Really the way they have great relationships with their players and how they’re very critical on their players and expect the most out of them. Also how they all want it as bad as each other and would do anything to go get it which really makes it stand out to me.”
As a prospect, it’s easy to see why Brown is ranked where he is. He’s a bully at right tackle who plays with a wide base, attacks with his hands, and blocks until the whistle. He uses his length to get hands on the defender and has plenty of lower-body strength that allows him to drive them backwards and into the ground. He shows above-average footwork and mobility for someone his size and did a great job of opening up running lanes on the right side all season long. Now, he holds an offer from the Georgia Bulldogs.
Brown is ranked as the No. 1 OT prospect and the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2027 class.
