ATHENS - A large group of former UGA football stars had giant games on Sunday throughout the NFL.

Here’s how some former Bulldogs fared during week seven...

Nick Chubb Returns With A Score:

The Nick Chubb story has a new chapter. After a season-ending injury last year that would end the career for most, Chubb came back to action for the Browns and found the endzone in his first game of the season. Classic Nick Chubb. The Bulldog legend and 2017 SEC Champion rushed for 22 yards and one score during the Brown’s 21-14 loss to the Bengals.

James Cook Stays Dialed In

One of the best backs in the NFL, Cook didn’t light up the stat sheet during the Bill’s big 34-10 win over the Titans, rushing for just 32 yards on 12 carries, but he did find the endzone during the victory. He’s rushed for 341 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, helping lead the Bills to a strong 5-2 record.

George Pickens Shows Out

The 2021 national champion is one of the best receivers in the league when he wants to be, and he wanted to be against the Jets last week. The sure-handed wideout hauled in five passes from Russell Wilson for 111 yards and one touchdown during the Steeler’s big 37-15 win. Tight end Darnell Washington also made an impact, catching four passes for 36 yards.
