Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs are 9-2 straight up a slight favorite, including the Dawgs’ 33-18 win over Alabama in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

The Bulldogs will take on Kalen DeBoer’s program at 7:30 in Tuscaloosa in a game that will be televised by ABC. The game is the start of a tripleheader on ABC that will feature the Dawgs and Tide. ESPN’s College Gameday is set to broadcast from Tuscaloosa.
Alabama is one of the few teams in college football with a winning record against UGA. The Tide owns a 43-26-4 advantage in the series. The two programs have not met in front of a capacity crowd at Bryant-Denny Stadium since 2007 when Matthew Stafford’s one-and-done throw in overtime beat Alabama 26-23. Georgia also won in the only other game at Alabma this century when Mark Richt’s Dawgs showed they were “Man Enough” to take down the Tide - winning 27-25 thanks to Billy Bennett’s game-winning kick.
