ATHENS - UGA football’s travels to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide primetime on ABC. Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs are ranked No. 2 in the country - while the Tide are undefeated once more.
The Bulldogs will travel for the second time of the season - this time to Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game in Tuscaloosa is the first against UGA with a full crowd since 2007 - an overtime win powered by Matthew Stafford's game-winning throw. Since then the two programs have met twice in the College Football National Championship Game - splitting the two contests.
Georgia and Alabama have combined to win three of the last four national titles. But the dynamic between the two programs may have changed with the retirement of legendary coach Nick Saban. The Bulldogs have lost only twice in the last three years - both games to Alabama.
