Georgia has the consensus No. 1 recruiting class in the country for the 2024 class. The Bulldogs have consistently charted at or near the top of recruiting rankings since Kirby took over in Athens. UGA has used recruiting as a starting point to drive the program to back-to-back national titles.
“We all know you are only as good as your players. And that leads you to recruiting,” Kirby said earlier this year.

Phillips ran the length of the field in roughly 13 seconds. Phillips committed to the Dawgs in January. Phillips, Jr. ran for 774 yards on 62 carries in 2022 with seven touchdowns as a running back. He added nine catches for 245 yards and two scores.
“Phillips is one of the fastest 2024 prospects in the country and the current 7A 100-meter state champion,” Dawg Post’s Matt DeBary said. “He can line up in multiple spots on the field. Whether he’s lined up out wide at receiver, in the backfield or returning kicks, Phillips is always a threat with the ball in his hands.”
