ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are finally getting a little break now that February is here.
But earlier this week, the staff extended more offers to some new targets in the 2024 and 2025 class. Two of the offers went out to some impressive in-state prospects in the 2024 class.
Justin Greene - EDGE - Mountain View (GA)
An impressive, versatile defensive lineman from Lawrenceville out of Mountain View High School, Greene is a big 6-foot-4 260-pounder who showed natural strength and quickness of the line of scrimmage. One of the top 2024 DL prospects in Georgia, Greene looks the part physically and knows how to attack the quarterback. He already held quite a few top D1 offers, but now he finally has the big offer from the in-state Bulldogs. As a junior last year, Greene made 63 tackles, 9.5 TFLs, and four sacks. He’s ranked in the 247 Composite as the No. 50 overall prospect in the country for the 2024 class.

Malachi Toliver - OL - Cartersville
One of the fastest-rising OL prospects in Georgia, the big 6-foot-5 295-pound tackle earned an offer from the Bulldogs after visiting Athens last weekend. He does a good job of finishing blocks and playing to the whistle. He plays with strong hands and leverage, so when he locks onto a defender, he’s putting him on his back. He gets to the second level consistently for his size and can really set the edge and open up running lanes on the outside. His long frame allows him to be a promising pass protector as well, and he’ll only get better and better is he continues to develop the right way for the next 12 months.
