ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have added a commitment from one of the top 2024 wide receivers in the Peach State.

That would be playmaking wideout, Sacovie White‍.

A sure-handed receiver out of Cass (GA), White earned an offer from Bryan McClendon and the Bulldogs in late June after dominating at a 7-on-7 camp in front of the staff. The North Georgia receiver has made multiple trips to Athens since that visit and has seen the Bulldogs play live multiple times already this fall.

White confirmed to Dawg Post that he committed to the Georgia staff during his visit for the Auburn game, and today he made his commitment public. In the end, White picked Georgia over Clemson.

Why did White choose Georgia?

“I committed to Georgia because it’s a family feel there”, White told Dawg Post. “The bond that they have is amazing, and I feel like I would fit perfect in that team! Coach McClendon is a very positive person and has a great personality!”

What is Georgia getting in White?

They’re getting a speedy receiver with incredible ball skills. White is as sure-handed as it gets and knows how to contort his body to make a tough catch in the air. He’s great in jump-ball situations and a great weapon after the catch. He’s a big play waiting to happen with SEC-caliber ball skills. He’s a guy who can help in the screen game or make a big play down the field.

White is one of the top receivers in Georgia and now he’s committed to the Bulldogs.
