Georgia Bulldogs Put Ten On 2022 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team

ATHENS --- Georgia placed 10 representatives on the 2022 Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference Football Team, according to a league announcement Tuesday.

After a magical season where the Bulldogs won their first national championship since 1980, Kirby Smart has plenty of talent returning to Athens and will try leading Georgia to a second-consecutive championship.

The Bulldogs feature four players on the First Team and the SEC’s second-most representatives overall.

1st team:

Sophomore TE Brock Bowers

Junior OT Warren McClendon

Junior DL Jalen Carter

RS Sophomore DB Kelee Ringo

2nd team:

Senior QB Stetson Bennett

RS Sophomore C Sedric Van Pran

Senior OLB Nolan Smith

Senior S Christopher Smith

Senior WR/RS Kearis Jackson

3rd team:

Sophomore WR Ladd McConkey

The No. 3 Bulldogs take on No. 11 Oregon in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game on Sept. 3.  The 3:30 p.m. matchup in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be televised by ABC.
