Kirby Makes Major Offer to 2022 QB
ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Dawgs passed out offers on Saturday, and one in particular was a big one.
2022 Rabin County QB Gunner Stockton Gunner Stockton picked up an offer on Saturday from Georgia.
“A great day at (UGA Football), and talking with (Kirby Smart) and (James Coley) I am proud to say that I received an offer,” Stockton said.

The move to offer Stockton is a significant one for Georgia. The Bulldogs have always been careful about offering in-state players… but particularly so with quarterbacks.
Stockton is one of the top prospects in the 2022 class, and one of the top overall quarterbacks in the country. He was named 2018 Max Preps Freshman All-American Football Team after throwing 34 touchdowns and running for another 17 as a freshman.
The Bulldogs also offered two other players on Saturday. 2021 Parkview RB Cody Brown and 2021 Hart County TE Cane Berrong said they both were offered as well.
“Blessed and honored to receive an offer from the University of Georgia,” Brown said Saturday evening.
“(I’m) extremely blessed to announce that I've received my 5th D1 offer from my Papa's alma mater The University of Georgia,” Berrong said.
