Any asst coach movement?

Wish list -
1. Oliver Purnell - wasn't he the defensive specialist Billy Donovan hired right before Florida won two straight NC's? It sounds like a defensive specialist might be a useful assistant for Coach Crean.
2. Dane Bradshaw - A highly over-achieving big man to replace Jonas. Jonas had to know how to make the most out of footwork, positioning, hustle and smarts to succeed with his level of natural talent. Bradshaw, even more so. It was hard for me to believe what he could do in the post at 6' 4" or so (and skinny).
3. Some Guy who is familiar with a good half-court offense. That's not HCTC's style, but it would be good to have the ability to be effective in half court for those times when we are forced to pull it back out and re-group with 15 seconds left on the shot clock.
4. Some Guy who is respected and connected in the Georgia HS and AAU arena to augment Coach Dollar. You would know better than me who that could be.

Oliver Purnell? His time has passed... You gotta be thinking of someone else. Hell, Anthony Grant was BD's defensive hard-nosed Asst that along side Larry Shyatt and Donnie Jones.
Can't imagine Bradshaw's any kind of answer either. We'll see. Crean's prolly not the easiest to work with/for but there's plenty of guys that'll jump at the chance.

It was Shyatt I was thinking of - never can remember his name. Fired as coach of Clemson so filed in same section as Purnell in my synapses I guess.SidViciousDawg said:

Disagree with you on Bradshaw. But since we apparently have only one more slot open, we need a Jonas clone - good recruiter in GA, good at developing bigs.
I'm thinking it's possible Jonas made a mistake. He was a rising star, had all the momentum as a coach. Xavier has been a fine program for years, but if this new guy flames out, Coach Hayes may be starting back from square one. OH WELL!!!
I really like the Scott hire - kills 2 birds with one stone I hope - the half-court offense and a good defensive mind.
