At about the 6 minute mark, you could see the momentum slipping away. Their top 2 scorers had 54 pts between them. Knecht had 38. If that guy is not SEC player of the year I'll be surprised. Dude has a smoooooth stroke. We had no answer for that guy. UTk killed us in the paint with 36 pts to our 18. Tchewa completely disappeared with 1 pt and 3 rebs. We were outrebounded 46 to 38. We aren't gonna win many when Tchewa has a game like that. And they outshot us 47.5% to 33.3%. Yet, somehow this was a game we could have won. We didn't know how to close it out when it got tough late. Our 3 pt shooting kept us in the game until the end, when we missed a few and turned the ball over. I will never understand an offense that puts a 7 footer at the top of the key with the ball expecting him to make a play or a pass. Let someone else make that ball screen who can pop out for a perimeter shot. Tchewa is no threat out there. Sunahara started and gave us 4 rebs and 1 assist but not a single point. 2 unproductive starters will get you beaten. We have to get more offense, defense and rebounding from the post....
