He couldn't believe we gave up 62 rebounds. He didn't think he'd ever seen a team get 60 rebounds in a game. He was concerned about our shooting, shot selection and lack of movement on offense, as well as our tendency to shoot a forced shot early in the clock. He also didn't like our lack of rotation and help defense. Granted it was a 1st game for a new roster against an experienced Oregon team with 2 really good big men on the road, but still there were a lot of things not to like about that game. Hopefully, we can bounce back tonight....

I agree with everything he said. I was shocked watching the game. I thought with our Italy trip we would be way ahead of most teams in preparation and being ready to play.

Actually, yes. Abdur-Rahim obviously had a really good game offensively. He also liked what he saw with Demary and Cain. He also thought that DeLoach was really active and will give good minutes this season. I agree with him on all of this. Neither of us can understand why we struggled so much at the FT line. That just shouldn't happen.
