combo guard Bishop Boswell and SF (I see him listed as a PF, but a 6'7" 200 lbs, he seems like a SF to me). I hear we have some momentum with Rooths; his name is popping up a lot. Since we lost out to Miami on Austin Swartz, Boswell becomes a big target. If we could swing these 2 and Newell, that would be a helluva class, and we are still in it for Reid.

Honestly, I'm not sure how many spots we have available. That COVID year is just about up, but grad transfers and seniors who may not play the extra year make it hard to calculate. Thomasson, Sunahara and Tchewa are all grads, so we have at least 3 spots. Jabri, Anselem, Hill and Moncrieffe are all seniors, but may have a COVID year. Still, I would expect at least 2 of these to move along. And then there could be transfers out. I could see 5-6 spots to fill.

I want to see us with a minimum - minimum - of two high school commits early period. Three or four would be optimal. Once you get to Spring the high school pickings get slim and you have to start culling the transfer market. We have to break that cycle.

I agree. We need to make an impact on this class in the fall signing period. We have a good shot at some of these guys, and we need to seal the deal....

Apparently, Boswell will be committing to one of 5 schools on 9/28. Mizzou, Tenn, Wake, Xavier and UGA. That's tough competition, but White has to start winning these battles. Our lack of guards should help us. The depth chart is recruit friendly. We need him badly to get some momentum in this class....

I'm hearing that Boswell is going to Tenn or Mizzou.
